hephaistos is designed and made in new york by a team of one. each piece of jewelry from this line is forged, pierced, and fabricated in a small studio in new york. since every piece is made by hand as a work of art, and each bears the individual imprint of its history in texture and finish. hephaistos offers jewelry in 22- and 18-karat gold. we use conflict-free stones sourced from trusted dealers.


extraordinary
each piece from the hephaistos line is distinguished by its craftsmanship, which emphasizes the natural beauty of the stones and the metalwork. many of the pieces have that indescribable quality that identifies them as artisan-made jewelry, a hand-made signature that machine-reproduced jewelry cannot duplicate. although these pieces are crafted from precious gems and high carat gold, they are nevertheless intended to be worn, rather than exhibited. extended wear will only increase the luster of the metal.

we take great care to source all our conflict-free stones from ethical gemstone dealers. all diamonds pictured on this site are kimberly certified. when possible, pieces are made from recycled gold.


natural
all the gemstones on this website are “raw”, that is, entirely natural, untreated, and unenhanced, with the sole exception of black diamonds which undergo heat treatment as an industry standard. natural diamonds are one-of-a-kind and each piece you see on our site is also one-of-a-kind. if you are selecting a diamond ring, consider our one-of-a-kind rosecut diamonds. these stones are absolutely individual.

since each piece is custom made by hand, please expect 4-6 weeks for delivery of custom orders. great care is taken with each handmade piece at hephaistos. we will work with you to design and create the singular piece that you will love for years. we want you to be happy with your order. if you are not entirely satisfied, please contact us. we will ask that you ship the piece, properly packed and fully insured, for store credit.
